Red Hackle Fly

hook Tiemco 811s
hook size(s) 6-8
thread uni-thread 8/0, red or orange
body back half: flash tinsel; front: fiery red SLF-dubbing from Partride
hackle one or two red breast feathers from golden pheasant
tail fibers from the red breast feathers of the golden pheasant

notes: First, I’m from Denmark. I use this pattern for saltwater fly fishing for seatrout. It seems to work good, both in the summer time, where we fish through the night and and in the autumm. Fish it slowly and strip about 10 cm og line at a time.
