notes: Tie in tail then leave remainder of peacock herl tied on shank half way up the body. Return thread to tail tie in point and tie in olive ostrich herl. Wind olive herl forward to halfway point. Fold peacock back then tie in black ostrich herl. Fold peacock over black ostrich herl and tie down. Wrap a small head and go fishing. This pattern has caught Steelhead, Rainbows, Bluegills, and Crappie. For most uses I prefer it tied on a size 12 hook. |
