MacIntosh – maroon

MacIntosh – maroon

hook any dry fly hook
hook size(s) 2-10
thread black
body maroon floss
wing grey squirrel tail
hackle white

notes: Tying Instructions: The floss body starts at a point above about halway between the barb and point of the hook. It is tied up to about midpoint of the shank. The wing is tied in here and is about the length of the shank. The hackle is then tied totally in front of the wing. This is a most excellent fly for both trout and salmon. Good in fast water.
